History

Family Tradition

Paul Hermann spent many years in the supermarket industry. He lived and worked in Kansas City as a Meat Cutter, store manager, and regional supervisor for over 20 years.

He purchased a store in downtown Eldon in 1968. Paul and his wife Ruth Hermann moved their family to Eldon and opened their new store under the name Paul’s United Super. Paul’s sold itself on its outstanding meat department, excellent customer service, and value.

Paul’s son Gary Hermann has been involved with the business since our start. With Paul and Gary Hermann at the helm, the store began to grow and Paul’s was relocated in 1980 for more room and a new name; Paul’s Cash Saver.

In 1990, Gary added a second location in Osage Beach in the Parkway Center. Gary’s son Steven Hermann became involved in the business at 14 years old. Gary and Steven Hermann continue the vision Paul Hermann started with, and once again, Paul’s outstanding meat, customer service and value continue to grow the business and on June 3rd, 2004, Gary and Steven Hermann proudly opened their third location on Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark.

Paul’s commitment to excellence in customer service, quality, and value, is what has kept Paul’s Supermarket going since 1968 and will keep Paul’s going into the future. Stop in and see what everyone is saying about what makes Paul’s Supermarket the Number One Supermarket at the Lake!
